  1. James,

The secret to searching Flickr is flickrleech. Check it out.

  2. Hmm, the day I post a link to that the site seems to be having problems. Anyway, assuming they get back soon, you can do a search on “lego” and get back a thumbnail gallery of the last 80 or so images that have “lego” as a tag, in the description, and I think even in the comments. It makes checking recent updates to Flickr much like checking the recent updates page on Brickshelf.

  3. I was able to check it out before it went down and that does look like the best way to search flickr. I was easily able to find what I was looking for, so hopefully it will come back up.

Another thing to keep in mind though is not how easy it is to search the pool but how large of a pool your searching through. I know a lot of people who only post to Brickshelf, I know far less people who only post to flickr. What would be best is one search engine that would include Brickshelf, flickr, MOCpages, and everything else.

But I doubt we’ll see that.

  4. Good to hear the old theme again james!
